Dull, significant pain after eating solid foods...any though Posted: 10-18-06 11:48am
Dull, significant pain after eating solid
foods. In the morning, I am OK, but after
my first meal, I get this pain. It has
been this way for about 5 days. It is
definitely not gas or indigestion.
Abdominal pain after eating usually
originates from the stomach. If this has
happened for the first time, you may try
to relieve the pain and request a
prescription for spasmolitic medicine
(trospirum) and a H2-blocator
(ranitidine). If this pain repeats for a
longer period, you may perform a
gastro-duodenoscopy to exclude a peptic
ulcer or stomach cancer.
