Bleeding... Please Read/give Feedback... I Need It! Posted: 10-19-06 15:59pm
I posted on here when I found out I was
pregnant. I had low hcg counts and was
nervous for them to rise, since I have had
two miscarriages in the past. My doc put
me on progesterone suppositories and I
take 1 baby aspirin a day... Everything
has been going good since (levels rising
and baby growing/ultrasound)... Then
sunday I started spotting. I stayed
calm; my Dr. Had warned me this might
happen because on the last ultrasound they
could see “free fluid.” it was very
light and brownish red, which I heard can
be fine... Then right before bed I went
to the bathroom and bright red blood was
dropping out. It slowed down and I
decided to call the doctor first thing in
the morning. I went in and saw him and
he immediately said everything was fine
come back in two weeks, wait and see...
I insisted on lab work and an ultrasound
though. The ultrasound looked fine and
the lab work said my progesterone had gone
down from 34 to 28... Which my doctor
said is fine. So I have spotted since
then, but today I am bleeding again and
having sharp cramping pain. I feel very
heavy down there, too, if that makes
sense. I am scared. Could this still
be normal bleeding? It is like the first
day of a period for me. And I am having
a constant pain in my very lower left
side...
I am 9 weeks... My first m/c happened at
9 and the second 10 weeks... With both I
had no symptoms.
Any advice???? Please give opinions!!!

Yeah with sharp pains I think you need to
go back to the doctor..Or another doctor
for a second opinion. I bled alot during
the first part of my pregnancy, but I
never had any sharp pains...That doesnt
sound normal at all. Im sorry .

I thought bright red blood was a red flag.
I'm surprised he dismissed it.
Honestly, .I'd head to the .E.R and tell
them you think you're having a
miscarriage. I wouldn't trust that
doctor.

If it were me? I'd be there already.
Pregnacy+ bleeding +pain +previous
miscarriages? I'd be there like a shot.
Hope it turns out to be nothing.

I Went to the Doctor... Posted: 10-20-06 11:50am
He said again everthing looks normal after
he examined me and the pains are normal.
I am really frustrated. The bleeding and
pain stopped last night... I think if it
was really bad it would be getting worse,
right???
Bottom line... I am finding a new doctor
asap!! And taking it easy.
Thank you all for helping not feel crazy!
I'll keep you posted
