Can a Serious Breakup Cause No Period? Or Am I Pregnant? Posted: 10-20-06 02:42am
Mk, so I was dating the same guy for 2
years and 3 months. We never had sex,
but we fooled around a bit. And about 2
months ago, I ended our relationship,
since then I haven't had my period. Well
actually, twice, i've had 5 days of a dark
brown blood in my underwear, and a pinkish
color when I wiped, but no bleeding.
Also, within the past day or two, my
nipples were starting to hurt, but that
has happened to me once before. Anyways,
my point is that i'm too chicken to go and
buy a pregnancy test and I wanted to know
your input on my situation? Thanks.

What do you mean by "fooled around"? If
you haven't had sex with him, then it's
pretty unlikely that you're pregnant. You
should just go get a test so you can be at
ease! If you aren't pregnant, .I'd go to
the doctor to see why aren't getting your
period.

Most likely if you never had sex with him,
you aren't pregnant. The only slim chance
of pregnancy you'd have was if he rubbed
his penis against you without a condom and
some sperm somehow got inside of you.
Your period is prolly not there because
you're stressed over the break up. Maybe
you should see a doctor?

Its sounds like you did get your period if
it was for 5 days. It was probably just
light. Sometimes they can get lighter.

Brown blood and pink spotting sounds like
an abnormal nonetheless a period. You
never has sex so I dont get how you
presume pregnancy will occur. Unless,
you inserted sperm inside you somehow!
Severe and I mean, severe stress can cause
a delay or cease ovulation thus in return
cause you to have be late or skip one
cycle altogether. You arent pregnant and
you had a period as weird as it was.

Thank you guys, that really helps me feel
relieved! And when I said fooled around,
there were still clothes on...But i've
just been worrying about it, since I
haven't gotten my period. One of my
friends said that when her and her
boyfriend broke up, she didn't get her
period for like 3 months! And I was
worried about the light bleeding, because
i'd heard about inplantation bleeding and
light periods even while pregnant!
Anyways, I really appreaciate your inputs,
thank you!!!!!
