The problem is probably your timing.
You should be having sex every day leading
up to your ovulation. That way, when your
egg is released, sperm is already in your
body waiting for it.
Even if you get your timing perfect, there
is only a 25% chance that you will
conceive a baby that month.
I don't know who told you that you had a
high chance of becoming pregnant two days
after your period ended. That doesn't
sound correct to me.

So you had unprotected sex 2 days after
your period ended? That's a little early
to be ovulating. On average, you ovulate
12-14 days after the first day of your
period.
How long have you been trying to get
pergnant?

It takes time and some girls/women dont
get pregnant right away. If you have
tried faithfully for over a year which I
dont know if you have. But my suggestion
would be for you to contact a doctor

You're 22 &married?
In your other posts on the forum, it
doesn't sound like you've been "trying" to
get pregnant. It just seems like you have
been being careless.
I'm not trying to be rude, .I'm just
confused by your other topics.

Ok here's the science bit (geez I love
that saying - it's from a shampoo ad by
the way).
Assuming a typical average cycle of 28
days.
Day one is the first day of bleeding.
Sperm can live for upto 5 days in the
female body.
An egg is viable for approx 36 hours after
ovulation.
Sperm are made on demand and take approx
36-48 hours to mature.
(hence why when trying to conceive it is
recommended to have sex every other day
instead of every day).
Ovulation occurs approx 14 days before
your period. Not after - the period
comes second because the hormones released
fromthe ovaries when the egg is not
fertilised cause the period - another
reason why your periods can skip or be
late if you don't ovulate.
Now this means your highest fertile time
is from 5 days before ovulation until 2
days after - typically days 9-16.
However you can not assume that you will
not get pregnant on other days - unless
you are a dedicated charter you can not
know when you ovulate exactly.

uhh, first of all I didn't say that. I've
gotten *loads* of great advice from this
place. But if someone told you that, they
were incorrect. We're not doctors, we're
people. Someone just gave you some bad
advice is all. Chill out.
And if you're trying to have a baby, you
need to learn more about your body. Do a
bit of research into ovulation and you'll
have better luck conceiving.
