Any Suggestions On Nutritional Diet Posted: 10-22-06 14:06pm
Wow I breezed through my first pregnancy @
the age of 22 with out being sick a day.
Ate anything and everything(with passion),
and felt so full of energy. Then bounced
right back in to shape post-partum.
Now @ the age of 30 I am 7 weeks
pregnant.
I am so hungry, even right now I am
hungry! But the thought of food makes me
nauseated. Nothing tastes good. Nothing
even sounds good.
If I eat I feel sick, if I don't eat I
feel sick. (but have not been vomiting)
i have been living on mashed potatos,
oatmeal, toast and boost. I am a
nurse..And realize to the fullest extent
just how unhealthy this is.
I have never been a big red-meat eater. I
prefer ocean food-oysters, crab, fish,
shrimp- but can not get past the smell
while being pregnant.
My sugar levels somehow remains normal, my
iron is good, but I am dizzy all the
time.
Any (any) suggestions on a good
nutritional diet or website. I am
starving and can't find anything to
satisfy me.
I feel like a big baby with this
pregnancy!

Do you like foods like tofu? It seems
like you want softer things and tofu will
taste like whatever you cook it in, I love
it! Or what about fruits? Are they
making you sick? Crackers and hummus are
good, yogurt (although I am not even
pregnant and sometimes yogurt sounds gross
to me!)
i am on a very special diet of no dairy,
meat, seafood or wheat. Fun right!!
I sneak in some dairy and wheat sometimes
though. I would maybe go walk around a
grociery store and see what looks good.
But like I said I am not pregnant so I
don't know from experience.
Good luck though, I hope you feel better.

Sounds like you are just miserable! I am
very sorry to hear that. It sounds like
you and the baby aren't getting enough
nutrients from food alone. A supplement,
multivitamin or something along those
lines I am sure would help wonders. I am a
personal trainer, as well as a personal
wellness coach with the company herbalife.
My boyfriends aunt all through her 2
pregnancies lived on the herbalife
products, and her kids turned out to be
some of the healthiest most intelligent
kids I have ever met. She took the
vitamins, drank the protein smoothies, and
got all the proper nutrients for her and
the baby and she had a very comfortable
pregnancy. I would love to talk more with
you. P(email removed by the moderator,
