Normal Penis Expcept For This... Posted: 10-22-06 19:39pm
After the first time I mastrabated I found
a few white bumps on my penis. It's been
about 3 years since then and they are
still there, and alot of them. They are
like little hard balls just inside my skin
and a can pinch them but nothing happens.
Recently, I started getting hair at the
very very end of my penis (near my
scrotum) and those bumps went away, like
the hair filled them in. That would be
awesome if the rest went away but hair
isnt gonna grow on my shaft where they
mainly are so will they go away? What are
they, im not sexualyl active and think
there fordyce (sp?) spots or sebacueous
something or other. They don't hurt, or
itch and I wouldnt notice them unless I
looked which is the problem. I can't feel
comfortable with a girl if I have to worry
about hiding all these tiny white bumps on
my penis, it really cuases alot of anxiety
for me in everyday life and especially
when im hooking up with a girl. Can I get
them removed or will they go away with
time? Any creams? This is really
annoying......Thanks in advance.

it is most likely
that the bumps you are describing are
sebaceous glands of hair follicles on the
scrotum and lower penile shaft. They are
normal and harmless. You'll most likely
see hair growing from them (if not now,
then soon!). And yes, hair can grow on
the shaft of the penis, though most often
just near the base.
Keep in mind, too, that penile skin is not
much like other skin. It is often bumpy,
lumpy, and uneven, especially on the
shaft. A deflated penis can look
especially bumpy, but will look less so
when filled and expanded. If bumps are
numerous, tiny, and don't change over
time, they probably represent your normal
penile skin landscape.
However, bumps or lumps that are few in
number, seem to have a timely connection
to an active sex life, or that grow in
size may represent warts (condyloma),
usually caused by a strain of human
papillomavirus (hpv). These warts need
medical attention, biopsy, or removal.
One nifty thing a medical provider, or
you, may do is to apply some diluted, mild
vinegar solution to the warty tissue of
your penis to "bring out" or accentuate
the warts.
The most common cause to changes in
genital skin is injury. Let's face it, a
penis can take a beating, and it is
neither surprising nor unusual for
bruises, nicks, bites, abrasions, or bumps
to appear after close or vigorous contacts
of all kinds. The head and shaft often
show the effects of such a workout, and
rest, soap and water, and occasionally
mild antibacterial ointment are reasonable
treatments. Most minor damage goes away
quickly, and lubrication by itself or with
a condom will help prevent future skin
irritation or damage from overly
enthusiastic masturbation or sex.
If you have something growing or notice
something unusual or new on your penis,
you need to have it checked out. If it
just looks weird and always has, it's
probably okay. And, if you're spanking
the monkey too hard, try petting
him!

plenty of guys
have fordyce spots on their penises -- and
they all think something's wrong with
them. Fordyce spots are those little
white spots on the skin of the penis
and/or testicles.
What to do: these spots are harmless and
no, you can't get rid of them so stop
trying. When it comes to all things sex,
they cause absolutely no hindrance so they
shouldn't affect your love life in any
way.

Ya I kno it's one of those "its not
harmful leave it alone" but thats bs. It
is harmful in a way that I don't want to
be "deformed" down there and I know many
other people have this and think the same
thing, they just don't say it. People
spend thousands of dollars on much less
important parts and so why isn't this
problem studied so it can be fixed.
Imagine if a girl was going down on me and
noticed these, that would ruin alot, for
her and me. I would be known as the
wierdo down there. Now, im not some
insecure kid who worries about everything
from my head to my toes. I live a normal
life, have lots of friends, am popular and
girls like me, but this is really a pain.
Is there anyone who has fixed this or
knows how too? Anyone! It creates alot
of insecurities for me now becuase I know
any girl that I want to hook up wit wants
to do more. I've already gotten away with
this once in a hook up but if I ever got a
gf, what would she think, she would
definitly be grossed out, maybe live with
it but I wouldnt want her to have to.

But they are normal - not a deformity.
Goodness that's like saying you don't want
pores in your skin because it gives you
insecurities or a girl might be grossed
out.
They are part of your skin and perfectly
normal.

The rest of the population doesnt know
that.......Plus they are un-sitely no
matter if there normal or not. A girl is
not gonna be thrilled to see bumps all
over a guys penis, just not right.

What is the treatment for fordyce spots?
Fordyce spots are generally harmless and
do not require any treatment. Avoid
picking or squeezing the spots.
Fordyce spots on the lips can be a cause
of cosmetic concern for some patients.
Electrodessication or vaporising laser
treatment has been used successfully to
remove spots.
Fordyce spots: small (1-5mm) bright red or
purple papules that can appear on the
glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect
younger men. They may occur as a solitary
lesion, but frequently appear in crops of
50 to 100. They are painless and not
itchy, but may cause embarrassment because
of their appearance, or a fear that they
might be sexually transmitted. They are
abnormally dilated blood vessels, covered
by thickened skin. They may bleed if
injured or even during intercourse. They
are not infectious and their cause is
unknown. Although a number of approaches
have been tried, there is no simple,
reliable treatment to remove them.
Troublesome bleeding spots can be sealed
with a device that uses a small electric
current (electrocautery).

and yes a large majority of the population
does know they are normal.
Most people won't even notice them as you
are likely to be making out in the
semi-dark.
The other person is probably going to be
worrying to much over whether their own
bits look normal or not to bother about
yours.

That is true ive already gotten away with
it once but im worried about like getting
close to a girl, eventually she'll see it
and may be very turned off or even tell
other ppl.....That would be bad, end of
girls wanting me right there. I just want
to be comfortable with my jewels thats
all. Could I try that vinegar thing?
It's definitly clogged pores though
becuase where hair grew in tehy went away.

When you are old enough to have sex they
will be the last thing on your mind.
She is going to be more worried about
whether you see she has one lip longer
than the other and if you might tell
someone.
She isn't going to go telling people "hey
I screwed this guy and guess what? - he's
got pores on his willy - no really this
guy had pores, and hairs, and sebaceous
glands - jeez you know I think he might be
a normal human".
If you pick, squeeze or do any other
number of things, you risk personal injury
as well as scarring.
Quit being paranoid and either see a
doctor or accept that they are normal.
Preferably see a doctor.

No!
Not harmful. Look it up on google, you'll
see it's fairly common and harmless.
