Spots On Lungs: Dr. Doesnt Know Yet What It Is. Im Worried Posted: 01-28-04 12:02pm
My son went to the Dr. The other day for
coughing some blood and shortness of
breath. The x-rays showed spots, about
seven of them. He put him on a 3 day
antibiotic. He had no fever so the Dr.
Said it wasnt broncitus or phnuemonia.
What could this be? If anyone has an
answer please let me know.

I don't know if you have figured out what
was wrong with your son yet, but it could
very well be scar tissue. Has he ever had
pnuemonia or any lung problems? I had two
spots on my lung, and the doctors finally
figured out that it was scar tissue. I
could have had these spots for over 10
years! I hope everything turned out ok.

My father has copd and is having horrible
time breathing with a bad case of
bronchitis.. He recently went to the
doctors for a chest xray and the
radiologist spotted a shaow?? I am so
scared what does this indicate- is it
defintitly cancer or could it be something
else? He just went for a ct scan today
for further testing.. Help someone??!!
