Well I ended up going to the doc earlier than my appointment - I leaked everywhere again and i'm talking a good leak - I looked like I peed myself!!!

When I got there my doc is on leave so his replacement looked at me and said it definately looks like i've ruptured my membranes high up and it's gushing out every few days. So he's recommending that I get induced next week!!!!! My doc is back next week and I see him on monday, so I guess i'll find out then!!!!

Maybe by friday next week i'll be holding my little boy!!!!

They are going to make you wait another week when they think you have ruptured your membranes?

I thought if the membranes were ruptured they took the baby immediately? Because of a risk of infection?

i was so sure they gave you a 24 hour rule that if you didn't deliver within 24 hours they would give you a c-section, because the risk of infection.

Also, a dry birth is very dangerous!

I kind of agree with you on that, I think I would call around and ask for a couple other opinions or I believe that their is a hotline nurse.
All the best to you and yours!

My mom had my sister without any fluid. The doctor let her go for 4 days to see if she went into labor naturally and she did

Sorry just got to work now!

He said I still have heaps of fluid left and he'll make his decision next monday but he doesnt want it to go on too much longer - it's already been 2 weeks since the first time!!!!

He thinks I have a tear up the top somewhere. I felt like arguing about infections etc but I always think well he's the doc i'm not.

Why do doctors take so long to make a damn decision?!?!?!?!
