Main cause seems to be stress...I've had
several episodes of twitching in the past
18 months, always when there is something
stressful going on. The average duration
has been around two weeks, and then
suddenly it's gone. I've read up a bit on
it, and this seems to be the usual
pattern, so try to relax, and count to
14...I've found that cutting down on
caffeine and increasing my intake of red
wine help. Actually, increasing my intake
of red wine seems to help most things...

Agree with poopoopoo. Had this a lot
while working in stressful job.
Got rid of stressful situations, and
relaxed, never had eye problem again. Its
a sign of stress.

Poopoopoo.I like your way of thinking! I
guess I best count to 14 first before I
start on this red wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I totally agree with you! Red wine,
white wine, any wine seems to make the
medicine go down better! Have a happy
life!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. But I also have a small pupil in
the twitching eye. See my thread
I have had twice in past couple of months
a twitch in the lower lid of my right eye.
Same eye, same place, and it lasts for
as long as 3 days! It is driving my nuts
and I am wondering if anyone knows how to
get rid of it! Help!

in order to have be pathologic, the
difference in pupil sizes must be greater
than 2-3 mm.
In addition, the twitching is usually
triggered by "stress" from either foods,
smell or physical activities.

Acupuncture Cure For Non-stop Eyelid-twitching - My Experience Posted: 02-12-08 04:48am
Acupuncture Cure For Non-stop
Eyelid-twitching
A few years ago I suffered from non-stop
eyelid-twitching symptom as a result of
the muscle-spasms side effects of certain
anti-psychotic medication (Risperdal)
which was prescribed in the first place
for the treatment of my depression
sickness.
I have actually sought numerous repeated
treatment from lots of different medical
specialists to get my non-stop
eyelid-twitching sickness treated but they
all turned out to be futile.
In the end, I actually get the non-stop
eyelid-twitching sickness fully cured
through acupuncture treatment.
Accordingly, I have accounted for my
healing exprience from this chronic
eyelid-twitching sickness in http://ehealthfo
rum.com/health/topic127403.html of
this website and I hope that the
information given will serve as useful
reference materials to the intended
readers.

may may be caused by irritated eyes, so
try to keep that area clean or maybe lack
of esential nutrients for healthy eyes.

It may very well be just one of the
symptoms of the neuroleptic
medication-induced sickness of Tardive
Dyskinesia too.
