Period is 2 weeks late with Cramps and Diarrhea: what do sym Posted: 10-23-06 18:00pm
I had a tubal ligation in May 2005, after
my fourth child. last week, I stopped
nursing. Now, I am 2 weeks late with my
peried...I have only had regular periods
for about 5 months. I took a PG test and
it is negative. I am having some light
pains above my pelvic bones and havv had
cramping and diarhea for about a
week...HELP!!!
If your pregnancy test is negative, it
doesn’t seems that you are pregnant.
Lack of a menstrual period can be due to
the presences of a functional ovarian
cyst, for example. You can request a blood
pregnancy test (beta) to exclude pregnancy
for sure. A vaginal ultrasound examination
will be necessary to confirm or exclude
the possibility of an ovarian cyst.
Cramping and diarrhea can be caused by an
intestinal infection. You can see your
gynecologist for the missed period and
your GP (general practitioner) for cramps
and diarrhea.
