This has been happening for a very long
time - probably at least 6 or so years
(which would be around 13 or 14 years
old).
It doesn't hurt at all, but my jaw makes
an audible (at least to me) click
sometimes. Some days its worse than
others (happens when i'm eating). I can
do it at will (sort of push my lower jaw
out a little). It doesn't take much
though and happens pretty much everytime I
open my mouth in an eating manner.
Like I said it doesn't hurt but its
annoying and I wonder if its any sign of
some underlying structual problem.
Any ideas?
I vaguely recall my dentist saying
something that it has to do with my wisdom
teeth coming in, but they've been in (they
came in properly) and it hasn't gone away.
Then again, I could have been dreaming
that whole thing.

Hey I could do the same thing to,
everytime I open my mouth my jaw
cracks.(hinges) I guessing we sgould see
the orthodontist
tmj can be rather serious, so I would
recommend doing some research on it, and
find out if you do in-fact have the
symptoms. There is plenty of treatments
options for it, but I know the most common
procedure is applying braces.
Do, check out that website, and keep us
updated!
Good luck!! -c0rie

guys you should go to a dentist that
specializes in jaw disorders. not just any
ole orthodontist. these often cause more
problems than not.
