So about a week ago I started to get this
rash that sort of covered my whole torso
and up into my face at first. It wasnt
raised or anything, just red, and it
turned to white when pressed upon. It
felt like I had a sunburn and a fever.
Well the rash continued and it soon spread
to my other extremities. On its way down
my body my face started to peel and now my
arms, mostly my armpits and inner arms are
starting to peel. Just in the past day
or so, about 5 or 6 days after the rash
started, the lymph nodes in my groin
started to swell up and became tender and
sore. Now there is a bump at the base of
my penis almost like it is a vein but it
is bigger. I have had no sores or
anything during this and am wondering what
the hell it could be??? Is it an std,
herpes? Syphilis? Or is it somethign
like scarlet fever? The rash kind o
flooked just like a scarlet fever rash.
Does skin typically peel with stds or no?
Would it be possibly to have an std
without having lesions or anything? I
really hope this is not an std but rather
some sort of bacterial condition or skin
condition... Thank you for any help!

Sounds like an allergic reaction
Have you changed washing powder or soap or
deodorant recently?
Have you stayed in a motel/hotel/b&b
recently?
Have you stayed outdoors or gone hiking?
Lymph nodes can/do swell when there is
strain on the immune system, which in your
case there is as your body is clearly
fighting something.
This is one of those times when you really
really need to go see your doctor. If it
is an allergy he can give you something to
help, if it is something else he can make
a diagnosis or take a skin scraping (not
as painful as it sounds) to send to the
lab for analysis.
Either way, this doesn't sound like
something you can or should ignore.

Sounds highly unlikely to be an std.
Rashes are strange and mysterious things.
It may be nothing to worry about, but all
the peeling thing would have me concerned
if it was me. This is one for the doctor
I think.
I had a weird rash came up almost
everywhere on my body last summer when I
was camping. A pimpley-like red rash. My
boyfriend and I got it, noone in the
surrounding area did. It was odd. I
still have no idea what caused it and it
took weeks to go away. If it's causing
you discomfort and concern, as it
obviously is, get it checked out.

The peeling I have is like the kind that
you get after a sun burn, it I sreally
weird. My skin itched pretty bad a night
ago but then last night it hardly itched
at all... Hmmm, this is weird. I am
going to the doctor about it tomorrow.
