Well last night I had the horrible lower back pain and lower belly pain with some pressure.. I told shawns mom about it and she said it sounds like the night before she went into labour so she figured I was going into labour.. And shawns step dad is taking his level 3 first aid and was reading his book and it said those were the first symptoms of labor.. I even had a shower and the pains didnt really go away.. Well shawns whole family was saying I was going to go into labor.. I didnt think so... I just couldnt see it happening... And well... I was right... It didnt happen... And now im depressed... Im still here by myself waiting for my lil man to get here.... Oh well.. Theres nothing I can do... And as im talking abot this my back is getting really sore again so im gonna relax on the couch

Poor girl Sad

it sounds like your body is gearing up for it, though! I know how painful it is (oh god, do I know) but at least you know that your baby's lacing up his birthing shoes!

It's insane. These last days are so so so long, and then once you have your baby, time shoots by like crazy!

I'm right there with you! Last night I woke up because I was having the worst back pain and it was coming and going in waves. I was convinced I was having back labor but just as I was getting ready to go out to the living room and see what happened with a little walking, it just went away. I told my doctor about it today and she said maybe i'm not drinking enough. Are you getting enough fluids? I feel like if I drank anymore i'd float away...

It'll be soon! Hang in there!

Off subject, but today I bought some fruity smarties... They're a rip off.. All they are is freaking skittles... Just by smarties and they're abit bigger, but the package is alot smaller.. What a rip...

Ew fruity smarties? Sound gross. They didn't have chocolate inside did they? I've never been a big chocolate fan (unless it's really dark and bitter) and i've never liked skittles.

I hope your man gets here soon, I want to see pictures!

Does everyone have back labour?

Real contractions start in the front or the back and come all the way around to either your front or back.

I had contractions that made their way around my lower body.

Contractions were intense as I was leaving for the hospital(at 5cm.)

i was gonna be *plssed* if they turned me around and sent me home!!!

last night I wanted to cry because I was trying to sleep and I kept waking up feeling "weird", I had a pain that started on one side of my back and came around to the side of my front... Does that sound like a real contraction? It kind of felt like a really really bad gas pain, it lasted a minute or two and then went away and would come back again later. Last night was horrible. Crying or Very sad

i hope so! You don't know how terrible I felt yesterday when the doctor said "it's not going to be anytime soon". I almost cried in the office.

I just didn't know if that was a real contraction because it was only on one side of my body, even though it was front and back and I don't usually get gas pains in my back. And I might be imagining this since it was happening around 4am but I think I was having the pains on both sides, just never at the same time.

At this point i'm getting ready to reach up there and yank him out myself.

If your doctor said it would be a while, then they were more than likely braxton hicks. You need to drink more water. Water, water, water. All day long. Every day.

I walked into the hospital with a gallon of water. They told me to stop drinking and I didn't. I *knew* that I need to stay hydrated and I wasn't gonna let them tell me what not to drink.

You could aso get *horrible* leg cramps if you're not hydrated properly. It's a serious thing that many women don't pay attention to.

I hope your lil man comes soon, bookoo ladies are due and day now!! I can't waiiiittt!!!

These weren't braxton hicks. I've been getting those for a couple months now and I get them pretty much every night after dinner for hours. And even though my doctor said it wouldn't be anytime soon i'm not really listening to that. They don't really know, it's just like some women walk around dilated 2cm for 4 weeks before anything happens, others go from nothing to delivering in a matter of 12 hours. I'm trying to think positively that it really could be any day, especially since i'm in a massive amount of pain and i'm pretty miserable.

Isn't it crazy, there are like 6 or 7 of us due in the next 2 weeks or so! Bring on the babies!

Edit to add: I can't possibly drink any more water than I already do. I'm floating away here! I drink at least 100 oz of water a day if not more.

Awesome on the water issue!!

I *hope* your man comes out soon!!! Of course when he's crying his head off at 2,3,4,5&6 in the morning, you'll wish he was back in there!!! Lol!!

The newborn stage *flies* by though!!! Snuggle allllll you want with your baba!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't *wait* to see all the new babies! It's gonna be soo exciting to see all of them and how different they are!!!!!!!!!!

do you think you could get at a good angle to do that? Wink

i really think you'll go on your own though, and probably sooner than your doctor thinks.

Those last days are *miserable*! I know how annoying it is when people tell you to "relax while you can!" because, it's impossible to relax when you're so uncomfortable! incredibly' impossible!

At least it'll be over in a few days Wink
