Q: Excessive Fluid

I got a call today from the clinic and they tell me I have excessive fluid.
At my last appt dr sd I was 23 wks and measuring 25. They told me today the u/s showed everything seemed fine w/baby.... Now I must wait till next wk to see my dr, anyone know anything about this????

I've heard of this on "the mom show". It's canadian so I don't know if you get it. The doctors only concern was that if the womans water broke, the cord might come out a bit before the baby was delivered and the cord could become 'pinched' cutting off the blood flow. It wasn't going to happen necessarily it was just a small concern. She gave birth and was fine. I really wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure your doctor will voice his/her concerns if any at your next appointment.
