yeah!!!!!!!!! Im 36w 4days........Im
feeling like crap"o". I cant sleep a wink
at night. Dr. Said just today that he's
dropped and everything seems perfectly
normal...Im dialated approx. A finger
tip...So labor isnt happening anytime this
week.Lol

you still might. I was one cm when I
went to the doctors on the monday before
chu was born. He was born on thursday
and when I went in (in active labor) I was
only 2 cm. Keep hope alive girl!!!

I went to the doctor on .Wednesday, and I
was a fingertip and 50% effaced. That
.Satruday, I had her.
Every woman is different though. Your
doctor knows about when you'll be having
it.
My doctor told me, "oh no, your def. Not
gonna make your due date"(about 3 weeks
later)!!

i don't think doctors have any clue. I
think I said this in another thread but
every woman is different, you can walk
around for a month at 2cm or you can go
from nothing to giving birth in a matter
of 12 hours. Personally I think the
doctors need to keep their opinions out of
it, they just make things more
frustrating. Betsy's doctor told her to
expect her baby 3 weeks early and here she
is 2 days from her due date with no baby
(and she's been dilated for 5 weeks). My
doctor told me not to expect anything to
happen anytime soon and that is not at all
what someone wants to hear when they're
approaching 40 weeks. It'll happen when
it happens and no one but the baby knows
when that will be.

You're right. Towards the end my doc
told me that chu wouldn't be coming any
time before the middle of june. Hahaha!
Try end of may. She told me not to
expect him to be more that 6.5 lbs. Try
d*mn near ten. They have no clue most of
the time. Well that's my opinion based
on my experience.

Yeah I know they cant possible know for
sure...But, my Dr. Swears I am not ready
and not showing any signs but he did say "
we never know" ....I dont wanna give birth
earlier...I am not prepared yet.....But if
he comes , he comes!

I agree with you their are a lot of times
where they just guestimate, one of mine
was pretty close the other one was 2 weeks
early, to me it is almost like the people
that do the whether, they don't know and
they make good money and ssometimes they
are so far off!
