I'm having cramps similar to period pains,
and I read that it can be caused by your
cervix dilating. I know you can be
dilated to like 2cm for weeks before
labour, but should I be concerned at all?
I've felt "off" all night.. And I dunno
why.. I can't get comfortable, I keep
getting these pains, and I have gas which
is probably contributing to the pain!
I love these last
few weeks..

I've been having cramps similar to period
cramps for over a month now. Some days
are worse than others. My doctor said
that it's my cervix effacing. I've been
1 cm. Dilated for over 5 weeks.
It's so aggravating.

I'm 35 weeks.. My first concerns were of
preterm labour, but if it's normal then I
don't wanna go to hospital on a sunday
night just to be told to stop wasting
their time.
I'm going in to be monitored tomorrow,
because my amniotic fluid level is low..
If the pains get worse tonight or I start
getting contractions i'll go to .A &
.E, but otherwise i'll just mention it to
the midwife tomorrow.
