Q: 40 Week Appointment!
asked by: Bridget on October 30th, 2006

I can't believe i'm due tomorrow!

I had my 40 week appointment today and I found out i'm 1cm, so I asked her if she could strip my membranes and she did what she could. She thinks i'm going to go on my own tomorrow but I doubt it. I have an appointment for thursday and we're going to schedule my induction for friday or monday if I haven't gone on my own by then. I'm so excited! My blood pressure went back up so I had to have more blood work done and i'm still on bed rest but at least I know it'll all be over soon. I can't wait to hold my baby!

Get someone's cell phone # and text them when you're in the hospital so we'll know!

How exciting! I went into labour on the evening of my due date and had my son the following late morning.

I remember how excited I was when my contractions began (when they were nice and gentle!).

Best of luck!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I feel very crampy right now, like my period is coming.

Did anyone else have their membranes stripped? I'm just wondering how long I should expect the brown blood when I wipe. It's been almost 24 hours and it's only when I wipe but I thought it would only last a couple hours. I don't think it's worth a phone call though, it's extremely light.

I don't think i'm getting my halloween baby though. Crying or Very sad
