Had My First Appointment With the Midwife Posted: 10-31-06 13:25pm
Just to say i've had my first appointment
with the midwife today and my baby is due
between the 21st and 23rd june, she's
coming round my house of the 4th december
and i'll have a check up and book my
scans. Do you normally have to wait this
long to see the midwife again?
Also she's putting me in touch with a
midwife who specialises in teen pregnancy
and she'll be able to give me lots of
adive and help so i'm really looking
forward to that.

Congrats! At first you see your midwife
every 4 weeks, and then at about 28 weeks
it changes to every 3 weeks.. And then
every fortnight when you get to 34
weeks.
I'm glad you get a specialist teenage
midwife, mine is really nice and
understanding, and i'm sure yours will be
too!
