Cherry angiomas? or Birthmark? Posted: 10-31-06 23:36pm
I am asking about some red spots that have
develpoed on my chest and back. They
remind me of a birth mark my son had when
he was born, red, smooth, slightly
raised... almost like a neddle prick that
caused bleeding right under the skin. My
sons birthmark went away by the tiem he
was 2 years old. The marks I have on me
have just recently appeared and approx.
10-15 new spots that I hadn't noticed
until recently. They don't itch, they are
symectrical, vary in size but generally
small about the size a dull pencil. HWat
are these and why would they just appear
out of no where. I read something about a
"cherry angiomas"... what is this?
I'd appreciate any feed back.
Skin conditions must be seen to establish
a correct diagnosis. You can go to a
dermatologist for an examination. I
can’t speculate about any diagnosis,
including cherry angiomas.
