Sudden Curve In Penis
Posted: 11-01-06 22:04pm

I am just 15, but for four months I have had a constant left curve in my penis. It curves, while flaccid, semi-erect, and fully erect, and the more in erects the more it curves. My penis had always had a slight curve to the left, but one time after masturbating 2 times within a short time period (this was the first time I really masturbating within such a short time) it started curving while non-erect, and I noticed it was odd. However, it went away after a couple days. Then I did the same thing again, and the same result, except with a bigger curve when it is erect, except this time it still has not gone away.
I am thinking there may be some scar tissue but I am not sure. I have noticed there has been an appearance of veins at the bottom of my penis that extend out in different directoins. These are thin veins that are prominent when the penis is erect, but I can still faintly see them when it is non-erect. Also, I am not sure if this has anything to do with anything mental (because my confidence has gone down), but it seems like I am ejaculating earlier than before.
If anyone has any help with what this is or what I can do , thank you.

Umm yes.
There is a name for this and I can't think of it.

**racks brain**

peyronie's disease - actually I doubt you have that because that usually begins with a painful lump. And is very uncommon in someone your age.

Seriously if this has just started to happen you ought to see your doctor for a health check - don't worry s/he has seen 1000's of penises of various shapes and sizes.

Could this just be a case of scar tissue that is not peyronie's disease. I don't really have any other symptons of peyronie's, but I don't really know. If it is scar tissue, what steps can I take, and would it be advised to masturbate at all or not. I do not want to any more for pleasure's sake, but I feel that I may need to for health's sake. I plan on waiting a couple more months to see if it naturally heals, but I would appreciate any insight from someone who has had something similar happen to them personally, or know of someone who had something similar.

Seeing doctor is the best solution. Not just in you r case, for any health related issue. But I remember one, here in this forum, suggested trying masturbating with the other hand. It seems logical. I myself didnt try that because mine is a bit downwards. What should I do?Smile hope you find the best way...For me if it stays as it is now, no prob...It is just something to pee and have sex...Not more..(knowing that they r also very crucial for life).. But it is not a heart or brain..

Wow I have the same problem. I even though was this me who wrote this. Its the same exact thing. Even the vains in the bottom of the penis. I think its caused by masterbation. There is a slight dent were my index finger wrap round the penis when I musterbate. So now I stoped holding it in that way wen I musterbate but it doesnt seem to fix the problem. Please post more if you find out more about it

a problem as such isn't just going to go away, I agree with Kia. This is quite uncommon for your age group. Although take a quick glance at the bold in the facts.

Which I thank you UW9118 for not being one of those boys asking why their penis is at a left curve. Rolling Eyes I get that question often.

-taken from wikipedia-

A certain degree of curvature of the penis is considered normal, as many men are born with this benign condition, commonly referred to as congenital curvature. This causes the penis to point in a direction other than directly forward, while still having a relatively straight shaft. Such curvature is not caused by Peyronie's Disease.

The disease may cause pain, hardened, cord-like lesions (scar tissue known as "plaques"), or abnormal curvature of the penis when erect. In addition, narrowing and or shortening of the penis may occur. Pain felt in the early stages of the disease often resolves in twelve to eighteen months. Erectile dysfunction, in varying degrees, often accompanies these symptoms in the later stages of the disease process. The condition may also make sexual intercourse painful and/or difficult, though many men report satisfactory intercourse in spite of the disease. Although it can affect men of any race and age, it is most commonly seen in caucasian males above the age of 40. Peyronie's Disease is not contagious, nor is it related in any way to cancer. The disease only affects men and is confined to the penis, although a substantial number of men with Peyronie's exhibit concurrent connective tissue disorders in the hand, and to a lesser degree, in the feet.

A urologist can diagnose the disease and suggest treatment, and it is best to seek out a urologist who specializes in Peyronie's Disease, as the disease and its current treatments are not well understood by most urologists in general practice. Commonly prescribed oral treatments, such as Vitamin E and potassium aminobenzoate (Potaba), are of limited value. Newer agents targeting the basic mechanisms of inflammation show promise, but have not yet been studied in larger clinical trials.

A curved penis is normal if it has always been that way. Many men think their penis is curved due to masturbation when they were younger, but that is not the case. During an erection, the penis fills with blood, but it does not always fill evenly. You can kind of picture it like the penis has balloons in it. Those balloons fill up with blood. Sometimes the balloon on one side of the penis is longer than the balloon on the other side of the penis. That is the most common cause of a curved penis.

Injury and scar tissue can also make the penis curve. This is more common in older men. Injuries that can cause the penis to curve include, but are not limited to, getting kicked in the groin or the penis being bent during rough sex.

Masturbation is very healthy for most people, so do not be afraid to do it unless your doctor has told you that you shouldn't for some reason.

Since your penis has not always been this way, it sounds like you should talk to a doctor. If you are not feeling pain, chances are it won't be anything to worry too much about, but it's best to get checked out anyway. Most men live just fine with their curved penis and have sex with no problems. In the meantime, avoid tight clothing. Wear something roomy enough to give your penis a bit of room to move.

Does peyronie's disease cause a curve when the penis is non-erect. This is what I have the biggest problem with, sure the penis curve will be inconvienent for sex since its a large curve, but it bugs me most for when I have to pee. It naturally twists to the left without being erect, which is so annoying especially when using urinals, as I always have to twist it back to center.
Anyways, from what I have read, I haven't really seen non-erect curves mentioned regarding the peyronie's disease, but I am not sure.
I will talk to my doctor, but I won't be able to drive until July, so I have been able to find a home remedy. I have seen some sort medicine on the Dr.Lin site (actionlove.com I believe) and I wonder if that stuff is legit, as I could feasibly have someone order it for me.

Yes, peyronie's can cause the penis to curve even when flaccid, although the curve is often much less noticeable when the penis is flaccid.

I looked at the actionlove.com site. That site is such garbage it's not even funny. Not only should you absolutely not order anything from there, you shouldn't read anything that's on that site at all. It's full of the grossest misinformation. Please don't take anything on that site seriously and don't use that as your sex education.

I Think I May Have a Theory...
Posted: 08-05-07 08:56am

I have seen a doctor for the curve in my penis and at the time, about 4 years ago, my family physician told me not to worry about the curve and that it is normal. I have been thinking about possible causes for this curve and one possible cause comes to mind before all else.

I did not get circumcised when I was born. Instead, I was circumcised when I was 4 years old. I think that because of the late circumcision and due to my penis being in the early stages of development, the way the circumcision was done may have led to the curve in my penis that I notice now.

Does anyone else think this might be a practical cause?
