I just saw a video for abortion and I
almost cried.it made me so sick to see all
that I couldn't watch it all.I think the
*only* time you should be allowed to abort
is if there is a medical emergency or
rape.so sad. . .

good point. And having a baby before you
finish school doesn't mean your life is
over. Or the baby will have a bad quality
of life.. Like I said I would rather live
poorly than never to have lived at all.

was an unwanted child with an unwanted
person who forced themselves inside of
you. I don't think anyone would want to
see a little reminder of that for the rest
of their lives. I know it was not the kids
fault but it wasn't the womans fault she
got raped.

She will never forgot she got raped

It's hard to say one way or the other. I
Know a lady that was raped, kept the child
and she looks at it a a good thing that
came out of a bad time in her life. I
guess she take the positive out of the
negitive. That would be hard, I commend
her.

true. I guess that was
just my take on things which is why I
think abortion should be ok in that case.
I'm not for abortion but i'm not going to
belittle someone for doing it (not saying
anyone here is belittling someone). You
could look at it like that though.

One of my best friends was raped when she
was young and left in a ditch. She was
impregnated by this man. She had the baby
and gave her up for adoption. Over the
years she kept trying to find her child.
Finally, her daughter came of age and
wanted to find her birth mother.
They found each other at last and how they
love each other. It doesn't take away
from the girl's adoptive parents and
brothers that she loves her mother.
And, as someone just said, something
wonderful and good did come out of the
rape. A mother and daughter being able to
love each other.
This was the only child my friend was ever
able to have. She is a nurse and a
wonderful, loving person who helps a lot
of people. Her parents supported her.
They didn't demand she go to an abortion
clinic to dump her child.
