Q: 5+ Hours In Labor And Delivery And No Baby!

Grr... I'm mad.

I went to my appointment at 2 and my blood pressure was back up and the baby's heartbeat dipped down to below 60 during my .N.S.T. (scary!) so they sent me over to the hospital immediately for an induction. I got there and freaked out, luckily nick works at the hospital so they just had to page him and he came running. I was admitted, hooked up to the monitors and nick ran home to get our stuff and take care of the dog. While he was gone the doctor put that little pill into my cervix to ripen it (i want to call it something like carvadil?) and I had an ultrasound (he weighs 9 pounds and looks great). Well, to make a long uneventful story short, the cervix ripening pill didn't do much (though they never checked me again), it just didn't cause enough contractions, so they sent me home after it wore off. I go back tomorrow morning at 6:30 and my water will be broken at 7 so he'll definitely be here tomorrow. I'm just upset that they sent me home but I guess it's better since I was really uncomfortable there.

I guess I should be happy since I know he'll be here tomorrow. I'm just overwhelmed and exhausted.

I can't wait to read her birth story. I wonder if her labor shot off really fast when they broke her water, or if it's slow and steady like mine was?

I'm so excited! Mr. Green

It's crazy how we have a group of pregnant girls and they all (or most of them) seem to be having their babies around the same time lol and then we'll get another group of girls ect ect. Crazy.

Happy birthday baby finn, if you're here!!!
