Q: IVF or Natural Pregnancy?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on November 6th, 2006
I have been trying to conceive for five months and nothing.. I have been keeping in tract of my ovulation windows, etc... Is it possible that I will not be able to conceive considering I only have one tube left after a major surgery for a tubal pregnancy and bowl obstruction within three months of each other? I don't have any kids and my partner is 23 years old.

The chances for getting pregnant in a natural way are decreased in your case because of your pre-existing conditions and your age (tubal pregnancy, one folliabian tube, half ovary on left side, scar tissue, and 38 years old). You might consider “in vitro”-fertilization. You can consult your gynecologist about this option.
