Really Need Someone to Talk To..... Posted: 11-06-06 14:30pm
Ok i'm going through the miscarriage
process and I really hate it!!! My
family has finally accepted the fact that
I am pregnant and everyone is so excited,
but thats because only my mom knows right
now that the baby didn't make it. It
hurts so much and I just really think that
once the process is over with, i'm still
going to want a baby. I really do and I
don't know if i'm ever going to get over
it. I guess i'm just really wanting to
know if I should try to get pregnant again
or not?? I really want to but if you
think I just need to have some sense
knocked into me, please tell me.

I am so sorry to hear about what you are
going through. I miscarried years ago
and remember the grief I felt. It is
different for every person who goes
through it, so i'm not comparing my pain
to yours.
I found that the questions from people
that didn't have a clue were the worst.
They ask in good faith, but then feel like
heels when they hear about the loss.
With women who deliver they too go through
a time of mourning. When the hormone
levels decrease.
I know it is hard to believe, but it will
get easier. I'm sure you will have days
that you will think about the loss and you
will be sad, but one day you will have a
beautiful baby to love and nurture and
though the one lost won't be forgotton or
replaced the one with you will be loved
beyond belief.
As for trying again, your ob should be
able to tell you when it is safe, but you
will probably need to wait until your body
heals a bit.

I am sorry to hear about what you are
going through with your miscarriage and
your mom! I had two miscarrriages and a
very difficult time getting pregnant so I
understnd what you are going through and I
pretty much agree with what mommy 35 said
about talking to your ob/gyn and it will
get better even though it is something
that you will not forget. When it is
right you will wake up with this beautiful
baby even if you adopt it is still yours
and you will love him or her or you will
get pregnant and will have this beautiful
baby just like I did and I never did think
it would happen but it did and it will for
you when you are ready.

The reason the miscarriage happened is
because my hcg levels were too low, the
whole estrogen thing.
What do you think my odds are of being
able to carry a baby full term??

I had a m/c a month before a got pregnant
again and i'm doing great. In alot of
books it says the best way to overcome a
m/c is 'if ur ready' to get pregnant
again. Though niether of my pregnancys
were plan.

It is said to wait at least 3 cycles
before trying again. Both my
miscarriages happened when I was young so
by the time I got pregnant again it was
yrs later. It is very possible to have a
full term pregnancy after miscarriage.
Many women have miscarriages and then
have healthy babies.
