I've been reading this book for about a week now and i'm totally lost. I must have read some parts 5 times but i'm still not sure what he's trying to say. I still haven't been able to find the vip muscle. But I haven't started the supplements either. Maybe that's my problem?

I've taken a multi-vitamin and drank protein shakes everyday for awhile. But I have started taking the 5-htp and lecithin. I have noticed a difference. I haven't had sex with my wife yet to know if there's a change in that department but I have noticed that I don't get the urge to ejaculate as quickly as I used to while masterbating. My time while masterbating has probably doubled. I also have notice that my erections feel fuller and harder. I'm still not 100% sure if I found the vip muscle yet

I have read alan ritz's book also. I am neither a great typist or english major.
I read the book three times to get the info. Currently I am taking (2) 50mg capsules of 5-http, (2) 500mg argine, (3) 350mg choline and (4) 500mgs of tyrosine. I have also pushed these up by (2) capsules each on occasion.I also take vita e and c and a good multi-vita. I also try to drink 3 protien shakes a day. I also have tried the chinese herp shisandra. I am 45 years old and 5"10 and 185 pounds. I have pe and lack of libido and a not very hard erection.

I have noticed the following. I sleep better. When we did have sex my wife noticed I was harder. When I had an ejaculation it seemed very intense. It did not yet help me with pe but it seemed as though it might as we had sex the next day and I held back much longer.

I have 3 comments.

1. I have not gotten the results mr. Ritz said I should get. I cannot achieve instant erections. I am pushing the limits on some of the supplements thinking I am just depleted of a vital nutrient. I will continue till the supplements are gone, if I don't see any more difference then now I will not continue them.

2. The books is poorley written and it took me 3 times rereading sections to come up the supplements I am taking. Still not sure if I have them correct. I did not appriciate the advise on relationships, girlfriend, sex toys or his meanderings thru chat rooms. Seems like caca to me.

3. I thought from reading the book that we were not to look for the muscle until we could acheive long lasting, next to instant erections.
I have enjoyed reading some of the coments. If things change I will keep updated.

First of all, I don't think you need to be taking arginine and tyrosine separately if you're drinking 3 protein shakes a day (plus whatever protein you get from your diet). Take a look at the amino acid profile of your protein and you'll see you're probably getting more than enough. If your specific protein doesn't give an amino acid breakdown, look at one that does. Comparable products will usually have comparable amino acid breakdowns. That is to say, if you're taking a whey isolate find a whey isolate product that gives the breakdown. I'm not saying switch, i'm just saying compare apples to apples and use it as a guideline to know how much of an amino acid you are getting.

Secondly, for your choline you could take a lecithin supplement instead if you'd like. Mix the granules with your protein shake and you shouldn't taste it too much. Lecithin is very important for liver and brain health and it contains the choline you need.

Thirdly, you probably don't need extra vitamin-e. Check your multi-vitamin, it probably has enough. 400-800 is plenty. Also, make sure it's a natural form. Stay away from dl-tocopherol. Not the l after the d. It's usually lower case though, but this is a synthetic vitamin e. If your multi contains it, it's probably not a good multi. Also note, that a one-a-day multivitamin is not enough so if the label says to take only one, it's not the best company. That doesn't mean take more of that one, it means find a better product. Usana is the best, but pricey. Life extensions is another good brand, but also pricey. Ask at your local health store for a good recommendation. You might want to add an omega complex (efa's, essential fatty acids) to your regimen.

I don't think a. Ritz knows much about pe as he believes the only cause is serotonin levels. There are many causes including prostate problems and high histamine levels. That doesn't mean the 5-htp won't help you though. Have you tried gaba? It's mentioned in the book as an ace in the slave (he meant sleeve, but like you've said, it's poorly written). He mentioned taking it a little (i don't know, 30 mins? 60 mins? Didn't say) before intercourse to prolong sex. There are many herbs and combinations in chinese medicine that supposedly help pe. I haven't tried any, but I did learn about many of them looking over some sites that this book led me to find. Google, ron teeguarden. I'm pretty certain he's the herbalist ritz mentions in the book. There are two sites, very similar (sell many of the same products) that have a lot of info on the herbs. Dragonherbs and another yahweh something or other. Type in premature ejaculation in the sites' search boxes and you might find some info. Read about the herbs that pop up in the search, and sometimes it recommends combos traditionally used for pe. Of course, if you're interested in using chinese herbs you could always go see an acupuncturist or chinese herbalist for a ready made or custom made formula. From what i've learned about those herbs and other causes of pe, I actually have plans to make a formula. However, it will be quite some time before I begin to do so and since i've learned more and will be learning more I have no set formula yet.

As per your comments...

1. Getting your body in shape takes time. He may have promised instant results, but it could take months. Taking supplements is good for your health period, so you should stick to them for your overall health, not just your erections. Though, like I said, your protein intake should provide your aminos, and lecithin is good for choline. Also, sometimes people don't utilize their supplements very well because of digestive health. You might want to look into doing a colon (and whole body cleanse, liver, kidneys, blood, etc.) to improve your nutrient digestion and assimilation. Also, probiotics (good bacteria) will improve digestive health and nutrient absorption.

2. I agree.

3. That's correct, he did state that. Though I don't know how instant and spontaneous erections are supposed to be before working on finding the muscle. I'm 26, have no problems achieving erections and have very strong erections, but I don't get erections from massaging around my penis. I get erections from being aroused and/or stimulated. If you want to find the muscle, I recommend lying on your side in a slight fetus position. Concentrate on your tailbone with your mind's eye and try to contract it. Also sitting slightly leaned back with your feet up on the couch, knees bent, is another way to find it. Other positions make it hard to distinguish it, from the pc muscle. Pay attention to your pc area when contracting it too, as it is very easy to contract the pc at the same time. Having an erection will help separate the two, as pc contractions tend to move your erection.

It can be difficult to find and even more difficult to contract while masturbating, and probably impossible during sex. So it'd take a long time to probably build control and even then only in certain positions. I've used it while masturbating a few times and it definitely brings on orgasmic feelings, but how to separate that from ejaculatory orgasm, I wouldn't know. I feel the book skipped over that quite quickly, especially considering the title of the book. He spent more time on the subsections and other things than what the book was titled.

Trying to Find Vip
Posted: 02-09-07 00:59am

Okay I am with healthysex on this one. I have read the book and for the last week I have been making a serious effort to find the "vip muscle". I am taking a lot of the vitamins he has recommended and I am implementing them daily. I also feel that their is something to the vip because for a brief moment yesterday I noticed a tingling feeling (very plesurable) all the way down to my feet.

I am still having a hard time distinguishing if I am even contracting the vip muscle. All I know is that I am going to continue my efforts diligently. My reason for buying the book is for two things one pe, and the other is when I ejaculate (and flex the pc muscle to much), I have a hemroid flare up. The reason this book is so enticing is because I can kill two birds with one stone. I am only 22 years old and getting, and maintaining erections is the least of my worries. Its controlling my ejaculation that needs help. Anybody who is currently working on the vip muscle please feel free to pm me so we can possibly help each other. Thank you.

My Opinion - This Guy Is a Con Artist
Posted: 02-10-07 07:55am

I've bought and read this book (scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex) and here is my opinion:- this guy is a very clever con artist. Firstly, take the time to read all the '6' star reviews on amazon.Com or amazon.Co.Uk, they are so similar they are simply unbelievable. I posted a review on both sites, with reasoned opinions, no over the top criticism, and surprise surprise, no sign of it. Secondly, the book itself has grammatical errors that my 9 year old wouldn't make and leave many sentences completely unintelligible. Thirdly, he makes great claims about scientific research, but this is conpletely unfounded, not once does he link his recommendations to a specific scientific finding, he simply lists hundreds of articles in the index and the odd reference to the fda.

The section on the vip muscle contains one sentence on how to find it. No anatomical references whatsoever.

He devotes a section to the top ten replica plastic vaginas. No, i'm not kidding, a full section on it and how he likes to take it out in front of a girlfriend. He even suggests you wear a gold medallion to impress the ladies. I kid you not.

He goes on at great length how he would never promote any particular product, but instead tells you to google certain phrases instead, and surprise surprise they happen to lead to pills he wants to promote.

This book is such a crock its unreal. Google the internet for references to the author 'alan ritz' and you will be none the wiser as to his qualifications or who he even is.

If you follow any of this con artists advice, do so at your own risk.

Very interesting. I also had trouble on occaison with hemroid flare up right after ejaculation. Some times the pain was very intense. It seemed worse if per chance there was a lot of lubrication between my wife and I and I did not ejaculate completly.

Spoke to my doctor about this because it was of great concern. He recommended believe it not a anti-hystamien (i'm sure the spelling is wrong). I tried it and it works well. Sometime my pain would not subside for 1/2 hour or so. If I took a anti-hystamien gone in less than 10 minutes.
Also interesting reading about pe and the results one fellow had with a anti hystamien. I might try that before sex the next time. I will take one 1/2 hour or so before sex and see if it help pe.

Doctor
Posted: 02-12-07 00:05am

I think I am going to go to a doctor, this week and test my histamine levels. My two biggest problems at my age 22 are pe and hemroaids. And I have my worst hemroaid flare ups when I flex my pc muscle to much during sexual activities. Like you the flare up could last up to 30 min which would be me paceing around the house waiting for the pain to die down. I am hoping I can kill two birds with 1 stone. I asked the proctoligist once why ejaculation would cause hemroid flare up and he said because the prostate spasims when one ejaculates. But he did not provide any solutions.

That is why alan ritz's book is so apealling to me because the orgasim without ejaculation seems like another great way to solve both my problems. I will keep you guys informed of my progress with the vip muscle which I continue to try to find/make consious connection to. Thanks for the responses.
