Hi
for my school I have to write a paper about mulitple sclerosis. It is mainly on the causes and effects of multiple sclerosis based on geographical location. For the paper I have to have an interview, if anyone wants to answer my questions please do but I need name and info for my works cited.

Do you think that the development of multiple sclerosis could be
primarily based on geographical location?

Can you explain in your own words what multiple sclerosis is?

Some of the effects multiple sclerosis has on the human body?

Thank you

Hi,

sure, i'll answer.. I have a soft spot for students.

Do you think that the development of multiple sclerosis could be
primarily based on geographical location?
No. In my opinion it's partly genetic and partly biochemical. I am in morocco, and I am sure that this would have happened to me anywhere. Though I should have quit smoking sooner.

Can you explain in your own words what multiple sclerosis is?
I have spots on my brain, visible in a mri. These are caused by my immune system getting turned in the wrong direction and attacking the myelin protecting the cells of my brain.

Some of the effects multiple sclerosis has on the human body?
I am dizzy and tired constantly (i mean from the moment I open my eyes), I have some trouble walking, and occasionally I can't speak for moments.

I do believe that it has something to do with where you were raised. It can also be a virus that you had. Or vaccines that you had to get for one reason or the other. There are many reasons. It can run in families. But that is rare. I have a distant relative that has it. I got ms, later in life. I am almost 58 and got it in 2000. Good luck with your paper. Wink
