A month ago, I had two instances of
unprotected sex with the same girl. Each
instance lasted for less than 30 minutes
and neither of us climaxed.
The only other sexual activity she had was
with her boyfriend of a year and 9 months
(who recently joined bootcamp), one guy
she cheated on him with (protection was
used), and then our two times. Somehow
she found time to have an abortion in
there, but then again, that might just be
her telling stories for shock value. I
truly don't know about that. Either way,
that supposedly took place before her year
and a half relationship. If her
boyfriend contracted hiv from her,
certainly they would have discovered that
in tests before he was admitted into
bootcamp, right?
A month has passed since we had sex and I
realized that the threat of hiv is real
and so last week I got some bloodwork
done. I came back negative across the
entire std-spectrum (i have had absolutely
no symptoms for this entire month. My
doctor also said that there was absolutely
no trace of hiv in the sample) but I know
that such early hiv tests arent that
accurate.
Do you guys think that in the next three
months (next test is scheduled for
february) hiv is suddenly going to spring
up? My partner isnt a prostitute, I know
this for a fact. Things between us went
too fast for our own good and the two of
us are experiencing some heavy regrets.
I know hiv typically isnt a "lone-wolf"
type of disease, but I know it's not
unthinkable. Is it really probable for
me to suddenly develop hiv in the next 3
months?
Id love all of your feedback, both good
and bad.

Some people, like my self never got
symptoms, if symptoms do present then it
will be about 2 weeks after your last
exposure. A test after 4 weeks may be
indicative of the result, but not
conclusive, where as a 13 week test will
be conclusive.
From reading your post, I would not think
that you have any thing to worry about,
and I hope we see that in the result of
your february test.
