I wanted to know...If a person is having a
stroke will an ekg reveal that? I was told
it would but wanted to know for sure....It
will relieve my mind. Thankyou Karen.

A stroke is a cerebrovascular accident
(bleeding or infarct in the brain) and can
not be detected with an
electro-cardio-graph (ECG). Strokes can be
detected via neurological examination and
a CT-scan or MRI of the head. An ECG can
detect a heart attack (myocardial
infarct).
