For the past 6 months to a year I have
noticed that my palms have a strange odor
in the morning when I wake. I sometimes
use lotion before bed, but most times
don't. I even asked my husband to smell
my hands just to make sure I was not
imagining the odor. He thought I had cut
up an onion or something the night before.
But that is not the case.
I do take Crestor for my High Cholesterol
10mg. But that is the only medication I am
taking.
Any ideas what this could be. I will go
to my regular Dr. but honestly just
didn't to sound like a freak when I tell
him my hands smell funny.
The smell of the skin is due to bacterial
activity on the fats that are secreted
from the sebaceal and sweat glands in the
skin. You can consult a dermatologist for
further help.
