Q: Fetal Movement Loss

I am 27 weeks pregnant and I have been having less fetal movement. Today I didnt feel the baby move.. I am concerned! Is that something to be concerned about.. Should I go to the er..?? I really feel like I should but I dont want the hospital to turn me awy for something they may think isnt anything. Any suggestions?? Im pretty concerned

The way I look at it is... No trip to the er is wasted if you feel that something isn't right. Your baby is way too important for you not to go if you're nervous. Don't be ashamed if you go and find nothing wrong. Who cares what the staff at the hospital think right? Smile be safe rather than sorry Wink if you think something's not right, then get it checked out. You know your baby better than anyone.

Yes, you should go to the er. Go with your instinct. If you feel something is wrong, that should not be ignored. Any good hospital/nurse/doctor is not going to think your crazy for not feeling movement. It is a common concern amongst pregnant woman. I was in the er plenty of times when I was pregnant for the same reasons. My son's life was more important than fearing what the nurses might think of me. Go if you are not feeling movement.....Chances are the baby is just fine, but at least it will rest your mind huh.
