Posted: 11-13-06 01:54am

I have ben battling depresion and bulimia for bout 5 years now. im 19 now and its gettin worse and worse everyday. I am overwieght but i already lost 60 pounds about. i usually binge and purge 5 times every single day. and if there are days I cannot bigne and purge, i usally dont eat.. ill go days without eating. i also take laxatives and diet pills. i already know its out of control because the health effects are starting to get worse. I have bad teeth problems like senistivity, cavaties, sore gums and teeth, heartburn 4 times a week, headaches, dizzieness, and i dont kno if severe chest pains has to do with it. too but the latest thing that started happening is durning the night i will wake up at like 4 am, gasping for air, and literally chokin to the point where my face starts to turn colors, and it feels like im drowning. then afterwards i will throw p everywhere not intentionaly. it happend bout five times so far but im afraid it has to do with my bulimia. and that my throats closing up when i sleep cuz im afraid i will die. have you heard of this before?

Bulimia can cause unintentional vomiting. Bulimia is described, in fact, by too much eating followed by self-induced vomiting. Bulimia can’t cause throat constriction. In fact you may only believe that you have throat constriction without having the physical experience of it. Bulimia and many of the other symptoms you have been experiencing (headache, dizziness, chest pain, gasping for air…) could be part of an anxious-depressive neurotic disorder. Teeth problems are probably separate from the other neurotic issues and you can consult some dentist about them.
