I Think There Is Something Wrong With Me Posted: 11-13-06 04:04am
I'm a bit worried cause in the last 3
weeks i've lost one pound short of a stone
(27 lbs) but I haven't been dieting. I've
just been eating as normal but my clothes
started to hang off me. I have had no flu
etc either.
I'm worried I may have an illness. I have
an appointment with the doctor on firday
but I was wondering if anyone had some
advice.

27 lbs is one pound short of 2 stone not 1
and that is a significant weight loss.
You should go and see your doctor because
you may have an underlying medical problem
that needs to be treated.
There are many illnesses that can cause
unintended weight loss and I wouldn't want
to name any of them in case it was wrong
and frightened you unnecessarily.
Are you a lot more active than you used to
be? Are you sure you're not eating
less?
