Light Vaginal Bleeding/spotting In Early Preg. Posted: 11-13-06 10:36am
Hello,
i am only sixteen years old, and am now
expecting my first child and I am worried
about what is normal and what is not
normal during an early pregnancy. I
noticed some vaginal bleeding when I went
to the bathroom in the evening yesterday,
and became vvery concerned if I am okej.
I have not even gone to my prenatal appt.
Which is sceduled for the 21st of this
month so I am not sure if everything with
my baby is okej. I also was involved in
sexual intercourse early yesterday and
read that it could be possibly from to
rough of sexual penetration.
Can any other mothers or mothers to be,
maybe even dr's out there help me out?
Thanks.

For many mommies to be it is normal to
spot early on, especially after sex. I
spotted lightly from week 11 to week 14
almost constantly. It can be very
scary!!!
You say you have not seen your ob yet?
If you have not, he/she can not give you
any advice on the issue. If you are
really concerned go to your primary care
doc and get a physical. Better to be
safe than sorry.
Good luck to you!!

I have not gone yet because I just
recently found out on the 7th that I was
pregnant, so the earlyest they could get
me in for my prenatal appt. Is on the
21st of this month.
It was very scary for me, to see that last
night. But thank you for your advice,
right now I am just trying to make sure my
mind is at ease since I don't have a
primary care person.
