I'm Happy to Know I'm Not Alone!! Here's My Story
Posted: 11-13-06 15:54pm

So a year ago I had a tia (mini stroke) I was 32-i just turned 33. The doctors had no idea why and even thought I had a migrane-but the symtoms where so scary that I knew at the time that it was no migrane..They sort of brushed me off believing I was too young

so on september21st of this year I awoke to my heart-rate pounding-it was 154- I knew something was wrong to I rushed to the er. My blood pressure was high-for me-it was 180/120..I usually have 103/54.

After many doctors and a realization that this problem was never going to go away-the cardologist believes my high heart rate threw off a clot that night..Finally the puzzle has been solved...I am now getting an eps test done in two weeks-

i can say my whole life I have had irregular heart beats or my heart pounding in my chest-not all the time but once a month..Since this has happened I have read many of all your stories and I feel a calmness knowing I am not alone..It seems so many of us suffer from missed beats-fast beats-or just plain crazy beats...Know if you do..Pick a doctor and write your when you had a missed beat-or if you drink a lot caffine...Don't let them brush you off like they did to me.. I am scared but not as I was that night I had a tia or a month and half ago...

I'm jus glad to finally find a place where we can all write our stories!!
