Methods for TTC (trying to conceive) & sperm Posted: 11-13-06 23:05pm
My boyfriend and I have been trying to
have a baby for a while now, is it true
that you should lie down for at least 15
mins after intercorse?? What about if you
have to go to the batheroom after?? Should
I hold it? Is it true that sperm says
alive and in you for up to 3 days & can
fertilize you? That would help me if you
could answer these questions for now
Lying down after intercourse will probably
not aid your chances for conceiving. Sperm
won’t leak out from the vagina if you
stand up, so you can go to the bathroom if
you need to. Spermatozoids can live for
about 2 days in a women’s reproductive
organs. If you are trying to conceive for
more than 1 year without success, you can
ask for medical help to diagnose possible
infertility or sterility.
