Going For Scan In 3 Weeks! Posted: 11-14-06 04:08am
Hi
we're going for a scan in 3 weeks to see
how the little one is doing (will be 14
weeks by then). We're a little nervous
but looking forward to it my girlfriend has
had really bad morning sickness since week
6 but there now seems to be light at the
end of the tunnel. After trying every
conceivable to food, we found that activia
yoghurt is good for "staying down"! So
if any of you get really bad morning
sickness you should give it a go! Also
it seems that pure orange is not a good
idea first thing in the morning. She did
have a slight uti but after drinking lots
of cranberry and raspberry juice that has
now gone. So things are looking good now
i'll post pics of
the scans when I get them.

Congrats to you two!!!
I didn't get sick in the morning, but in
the afternoon around 3:00pm until after
supper. It sucked, but to me that was
better. Apples with salt seemed to
lessen the feeling of nausea for me. I
still eat a ton of them.
Good luck to you!

Drinking cranberry juice will not cure a
uti, it will help relieve the symptoms.
She needs antibiotics, or it will get
worse.

Hi
she has been on a course of general
antibiotics alongside the cranberry juice
I know that
cranberry juice alone will not cure it but
it can help. She was very dehydrated so
drinking lots has certainly helped.
She's also a nurse so she can check her
urine tests herself - bonus!
