I started the depo prevera shot 06 /2002
and stop taking the shot 09/2003. I had a
normal period in september and october but
after that I did not have any more. I
know that i'm not pregnant because i've
been tested many times. Some people told
me that the shot can cause early
menopause. Is this true? I'm really
worried because i'm only 18.

I have a friend who has been on the
depro-provera shot for years now. She
loves it because she doesn't get her
period at all. I am not sure how normal
this is for your body. If you are really
concerned, go to your gyno, the can tell
you anything!!!
