A forum is the last place to discuss your
baba's eatting habits. I did that and got
*reemed a new problem*!!!!
My baby was tiny ay birth, but caught up
*quickly*!!! She, at 6 1/2 months, is
20lbs.
At 2 months, she was, geezus, I don't
remember. But she was big!!! I mean
everyone thought she was going to be
obese, even her doctor. But he(her dr)
realized that she will continue to gain
2lbs a month. Perioddd!
Textbook, babies should *only* gain 9oz
per month. Buuuut, not all b abies are
textbook!!
Don't worry about it girl!!! She's
healthy and beautiful!!! Who cares how
much she weighs.
Nana is now 20lbs and 28in long....Waaay
big for a 6 1/2 month old. But she
carries the weight well!!

Alyvia was only 9.2 at her 2 month
check-up. But her daddy and I are both
small, and the doc said she takes after
us. She's petite.
She's at least 10 pounds now, but probably
more. She's getting some chub on her
legs!

I think if there was a reason for concern,
your pediatrician would let you know

At 8 weeks william was 11.14lbs and when
he was 10 weeks he was 12.9lbs and that is
on the average line according to the
health visitor but every baby is different
in length and in weight so there shouldnt
be anything to worry about unless your
doctor says anything

My baby is large for her age. She always
has been. In her doctors eyes as well as
others.
It doesn't concern you that your baby is
gaining so much weight?
How many times a day are you feeding her,
if you don't mind me askin?
I know every baby is different. And I
know that .Teegan will be of average
weight when she starts growing in length!
I'm not tryin to start drama, really I
swear. I just remembered how scared I was
because .Oni was gaining too much
weight!

My son is 6 months and is about 15 pounds.
He was born at 7 lbs 2 oz.
I look at it this way, if you are only
formula feeding, then let her weigh
whatever she wants.... Its not like you
are going to let her starve. Let her eat
as much formula as she wants. Theres
nothing wrong with that!
If you were stuffing her with solids and
she was overweight that would be
different.

At 10 weeks my son was 11 lbs.
At 5 months, 15lb 11oz
at 9 months 21lbs.
He's taller than average too though so has
always been a little heavier than average.
He's a sturdy little boy but not at all
fat, thankfully.

Are you serious?
So it's ok to stuff a bottle in a baby's
mouth everytime she cries? I mean you can
never feed them too much formula right??
Lmao
reguardless of what you're feedin them, if
it's too much it's too much.
If you were directing that comment towards
me, her doctor is completely happy with
her weight/height ratio. She is
completely mentally/physically perfect.

Well, my son had his 6 month appointment
today. He turned 6 months 3 days ago, but
he weighs 20 lbs 9 oz. He's a chunk. He
is 27 3/4 inches though. He doesn't look
fat though. I can't remember how much he
weighed at 10 weeks, but I think it was 12
lbs or more.. If anyone has anything
negative to say about your child just tell
them to shut the hell up!

.Melia's doctor said that she shouldn't
have doubled her weight until she is 6
months old but she is 4 months old and a
little over 12 lbs....But he wasn't
concerned. Just said to hold off on the
solids. I have given her some rice
cereal at night on those nights that she
isn't wanting to go to bed. But it's not
every night.....So whatever.

I agree with .Rose.Jackson, as long as the
dr says she is okay and that she is
healthy, I would not worry about it. My
.Son weighed 10lbs 2ozs at birth and got
heavier after birth of course his .Dad's
family is big and so was mine, once they
start moving around more and walking it
starts coming off. If you are concerned
your dr can run some tests but don't let
what others say bother you, and I know
that it is easier said than done, I
remember that .Sarah, it pissed me off
because I know it was hurting you.
Natzcee, we are here for you and we are
not here to judge you or your baby I think
your baby is cute! Even my .Daughter
was8lbs and 8ozs at birth, I don't
remember their weight at 9 weeks, that was
a long time ago for me.

My baby was 9lbs 2oz at birth.
Not sure how much at 9 weeks, but 15lbs.
8oz and 25 in. At 4 months,
and 18lbs 5oz and 26in. At 6 mos, and now
she just turned 8 months on .Monday and is
21lbs 4oz.
No 2 babies will ever be alike, so try not
to compare your baby to others to find the
'normal' weight or anything. Adriana grew
a lot in her first 6 months, and now she's
slowed down quite a bit. Others grow slow
at first and pick up later. So just keep
up with what you are doing and let nature
take it's course, everything will be fine.

I feed .Teegan every 4 hours sometimes a
little bit sooner if shes realy upset and
hungry, .Teegan goes to bed at half 10 at
night and gets up at 9 in the morning shes
a realy good sleeper, so the way I look at
it shes asleep for 11 hours if she wants
fed every 2 hours thats fine but I try
hold off longer, me midwife told me when
she was 5 weeks and 6 days she was 10.3
slightly over weight, now at 9 weeks she
was 12.2 thats over half a pound a week,
ive never had a baby so I duno if im maybe
feeding her too much or what thats all im
concerned about

I'm not trying to be harsh about her
baba's weight, because mine ain't the
skinniest!!
We allll have little chunk monsters!!!!
All of our baba's are healthy reguardless
of their weight(which in a year will allll
be a blurrrrrr)!!!!!
Everyone is correct, if her dr isn't
concerned, you shouldn't be either!!
