hell no you shouldnt give a 3 week old baby cereal or any other kind of solid foods! In a bottle or not! Babies shouldnt have any solid food until they are 4 months old, some people even wait till their baby is 6 months. You dont know what kind of future digestive problems you could be giving your child by doing that! F*ck your doctors! Read the articles natalia posted.

You have a 3 week old baby, getting up every couple hours is normal. Just get on with it basically. I know its difficult, but if you cant handle it, and you're willing to risk giving your baby health problems in the future just because you wanna be selfish and get more sleep, maybe you should give her to someone who can be bothered! Geez why do some people even have babies if they dont like the reality of looking after one 24 hours a day! Evil or
Very Mad

whatever. Me, my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews were fed cereal as babies. Guess what? We're all fine Shocked not a single digestive problem among us! Guess what else? I'm a baaaaaaaaaaad mommy, I give chu cereal! Guess what else no matter what you or anyone else says if my child is hungry and the milk wasn't enough then i'm gonna feed him. Guess what else? He's not obese and he's 100% healthy at his last doctor's appointment! Omfg! Guess what else? If I ever have another baby and (s)he is screaming and mean all day like chu because (s)he is hungry and the milk isn't enough then i'm going to give that baby cereal too... Twisted Evil

I think this might be a cultural difference between the .U.K and the .U.S because it seems all the .U.K girls are saying no way and the only ones saying do it are .American. You can't blame someone for doing what they are told by medical professionals is right. It just so happens that the medical professionals in the .U.K say it's not alright.

that's fine green. It's just not okay to insinuate that someone is a bad or lazy mother because of cultural differences.

my point exactly. I personally think it's not good for a baby that young to be given anything other than milk but I won't judge someone who does give their baby cereal if their doctor has told them to. We all just do the best we can for our babies.

Dang she only has 1 kid she cant been through that much I got 5 kids seems like she been through more than me with just her 1 kid

look hun. If you really have five children, why the medical answer do you need our advice??? Come on lady.

I'm not rude at all. You can ask anyone on here. I simply stated that you should consult your doctor over listening to us. If you really aren't a teen, you would've gotten that from jump. Yea so you read the dispute between me and .Natalie, but guess what, I apologized for coming across as a bit(h. As it wasn't my intetnion. But you're a lost cause, no matter how many times I try to end it with you, you carry on like a teenager[b].

[b]everyone
is going to do with their child whatever they please. Me and .Kay gave our baba's cereal and they are perfect!! There is actually a formula with cereal already in the sh't that some doctors recommend.. So please read up on your research before trying to turn it alll around on me.

This is the internet. Nobody can actually tell the tone in someone's sentence. I was trying to help you, but you're obviously convinved that everyone is out to get you.

I've complimented many many times on how beautiful your daughters are and you come at me with this sh;t??? I know your hormones are raging & you're prob experiencing some baby blues, but please don't take it out on me....I'm not the medical answer enemy here!

If you're going to name call, don't waste your energy. It will not offend me....

Lmao no I dont have twins but I know how hard babies are and what its like having no one there to help you out. You've got a great guy helping you so quit complaining you want them to sleep more, go read a baby book and see how often they sleep at that age! I know sarah gave oni cereal at 3 weeks or whatever and that turned into a crap fest over oni's weight which you werent on here back then to see. I dont care who it is who's feeding their baby too young. Its not right and to justify it by saying oh well we all turned out ok, is crap because you were lucky, if you love your kids enough you dont risk their health over getting them to sleep more! Loads of digestive disorders dont start until teenage years or adulthood! I dont give a caca who else is doing it, thats my opinion and im entitled to write it, most baby books and peadiatricians (sp) will agree with what I said! If you dont like my comments dont read them or reply to them, im entitled to my opinion and i'll write it as much as I want because I care about babies and dont like to see them being cared for wrong! The end Smile

edited to add -you should have a clue if you have 5 kids?! And btw the condom store is that way >>>

You guys are all a little nutty.

Strangers over the internet shouldn't be able to make anyone so angry.
