lmao no I dont have twins but I know how hard babies are and what its like having no one there to help you out. You've got a great guy helping you so quit complaining you want them to sleep more, go read a baby book and see how often they sleep at that age! I know sarah gave oni cereal at 3 weeks or whatever and that turned into a crap fest over oni's weight which you werent on here back then to see. I dont care who it is who's feeding their baby too young. Its not right and to justify it by saying oh well we all turned out ok, is crap because you were lucky, if you love your kids enough you dont risk their health over getting them to sleep more! Loads of digestive disorders dont start until teenage years or adulthood! I dont give a caca who else is doing it, thats my opinion and im entitled to write it, most baby books and peadiatricians (sp) will agree with what I said! If you dont like my comments dont read them or reply to them, im entitled to my opinion and i'll write it as much as I want because I care about babies and dont like to see them being cared for wrong! The end Smile

lol, for you to say that me following her doctor's orders on what and when to feed her is ludacris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm suuuure that if your child's doctor has said give him cereal by a spoon only at 3 weeks, you would listen.

Look, this isn't about "who's a better mom", this is about people going psycho because babies are on cereal early.

Allie, don't come on here talking about you care for and love my child or any other woman's child. You don't even know us!!!!!!!!! The only reason you come on a forum is to gloat about yourself and your situation. And honestly, .Oni's doctor would disagree with your style of parenting.

Yea, everyone threw a sh't fit about what I fed .Oni and guess what, she's perfect!! She says mama and dada(she started that this morning when dada walked in the room!!!!!) .So cereal didn't kill her as it won't kill any other child.

My child is going to be 7months on the 22nd. She's 20lbs and 28inches long. She is one of the healthiest babies her doctor has ever seen!!!

For the record, keep my name and my childs name out of your mouth. I don't medical answer harass you about caca. So leave my family and our decisions alone.

Oh yea, and its pediatrician hahahahahahhahahahaha!!

Or in the .U.K it is spelt paediatrician Wink

edit to say: i'm not trying to be a smart arse. Just wanted to show correct u.K spelling cos the .U.S and the .U.K spell things differently.

It's cool girl. You don't need condoms...You're married.

Someone special has this thing where she's the best mother in the world and whatever you, i, or anybody does is wrong. Yet she smaked her 5month old in the head because he was crying......

Don't sweat it girl....

There is no such thing as a perfect mother. We all make mistakes--we are only human!

We all have different parenting techniques, and parent with our childrens' health at heart.

Allie, you know yourself that you are far from the best mother. Lets stop throwing low blows, and learn to get along whether or not we completely agree with what every other mother chooses to do with their child(ren).

Sarah I wrote '(sp)' next to the word paediatrician to show I wasnt sure of the spelling. And everyone on here spells stuff wrong at times, no one cares lmao!

Michelle I know im not the perfect mom, ive never said I am, no ones perfect. But its a fact giving solid foods to a baby can be harmful to their digestive system, and it bugs me that some moms are selfish enough to give their baby something they know is of risk, just to get more sleep. Im sorry but sleepless nights is part of being a mom, and especially someone with 5 kids should know better. Her husband obviously does as he told her not to do it! If you have to ask people on a forum whether they think its ok to do, you obviously know theres something not quite right about it.

Doctors arent right 100% of the time, they arent saints.

Dont get me started on sarah (babymajic) shes a retarded mom! She smokes cigarettes and canabis around oni daily in her house. She fed her such huge amounts that she was very over weight. I know everyone was trying to be polite about the pics she posts but she was huge! That was really unhealthy for oni. Even her own .D.O.C.T.O.R told sarah off for feeding her too much! She came on here asking advice about it cos she knew she was wrong and wanted everyone to say it was ok dont worry blah blah. Oni looks like shes lost weight now or grown a bit so she looks less chubby, but it still doesnt excuse what sarah did, and continues to do with polluting her baby's lungs with pot and nicotine.

Yeh oni might be ok now sarah and healthy saying mama dada whatever the f*ck else. But when shes older I just hope she stays as healthy and doesnt get some nasty digestion issue such as crohns disease, ulcerative colitis, .I.B.S etc etc all because you were an idiotic mom when she was a baby. If she does, it will be your fault for being so ignorant and careless, and you'll remember this.

Um have u read many baby books? I have, and talked to nurses, baby health visitors, lots of different moms at a mom and baby group where we discuss the advice our doctors give us, no one was told give the baby any solid food before 4 months, and at less than 1 month old!? Pfffft ...And researched it online.
So im not just talking about what 1 doctor told me, its many. Anyway im done with this thread now.

then why are there just as many here that recommend it? Hmmm? It just couldn't occur to you that where you are may influence the advice you get? Whatever. Stop personally attacking people because you don't like what they do. You need to seriously chill out. What sarah's baby or my baby eats isn't going to harm your baby.

Just wanted to add...

You don't know .Sarah. You don't know what she does in her own home, and as such you shouldn't comment on her "smoking habits", because unless you sat there and watched her do it, you've got no clue. You're just going off what other people told you based on a situation that had never happened before or since that night.

I'm not trying to be a health forum or start anything, but really, don't spread that around. Sarah's a good mother and would never do anything that she thought might hurt .Oni. Think what you want, but don't stoop to spreading rumors you've heard.

Kayoni is a beautiful baby. I promise you that people weren't being "kind" when they commented her.

That's all I wanted to say.

That's because I don't smoke cigarettes.

Ladies, thank you for the positive responses.

Allie, I refuse to stoop to your level of name calling. That is for the teen forum. Not here.

We know you're a so/so mother, but we don't dwell on your mistakes.

So please stop dwelling on my life.

My child is beautiful. And reguardless of what you think, I know she's georgous.

She is and always will be a healthy, smart, beautiful baby girl.

The fact that you base your post on rumors is what proves that you're immature. You have no idea of what went on, yet you swear you're correct. If it makes you feel better....I'll continue to let you think that....

Laura, thank you for speaking. Kay, you know whats up girlll!!!
Mel, thank you as well!!!

Allie, please don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. A.K.A the pot cannot call the kettle black. (if you're confused, ask an elder)

Our pediatrician recommends not starting cereal until 4 months at the earliest. Noah is 4 months now and is still satisfied with just breast milk. I do know people who have started cereal earlier so do what works best for you and your baby.

Well, f*ck me sideways.

I had my doubts about this post, but I figured that you were all grown up enough to handle it - after all this is in pregnancy instead of teen (thank you whoever pointed that gem out).

But obviously not.

If one person makes a b*tchy comment or something you don't like - why the f*ck can you all not be adult enough to ignore the comment and move on?????? Hmmmmmm trust me there's more than one person got involved in this and that makes you as bad as the next person.

I pointed out in the very first reply that there was a difference between what we are told in the uk and what you are told in the usa.
Both nations successfully raise children, so in the end it comes down to how you personally feel about it, what your doctor recommends and your individual child.
