How Should I Tell My Mom I'm Pregnant!
Posted: 11-19-06 11:09am

I am only 16 years old, and I am 5 weeks pregnant. My now exboyfriend, and the father of my baby broke up with me when I told him that my period was late. I am so scared! I have no clue how to tell my mom! I am so scared about how she will react. No matter what she says or does I will not have an abortion or give my baby up for adoption though. If anyone could give me some ways to break the news to my mom.. That would help me out soo much! Thanx.

I'm only 15 and 9 weeks pregnant. From my experience the best thing to do is tell them as soon as possible it will only get harder the longer you wait. It is hard telling your parents and i'm not saying that it will all go smoothly but the easiest thing to do is just explain what has happened that it was a mistake (if it was) but make sure you strongly say what you ar going to do and stick by it if that is what you want. As for the father, well many guys do get up and go when this situation arises and all it really does is show how much of a man they are, they made the baby they still have to pay for the baby even if they are not being a father. Good luck with everything and let us know how it goes

Why is the word 'baby' a link in this post? I don't mean the green underlined advertising link either, but a blue 'webpage' one.

Seems a bit dodgy to me...

I told my parents when I was 10 weeks... I'm now 20wks I waited a month before I told them... I was so scared... But I thought the longer I kept it to myself the harder it will get...

I wrote them a letter in the morning before I went to college one day and they got it when I was college...

Hope everything works out for you.

Good luck and congrats on your pregnany.

If you were born in 1980, you would be 26... Did you mean 1990? Confused

Most fakes never admit it, even after there is solid proof.

I think she probably mistyped her screenname. 1990 would make her 16.
