if baby powder is so bad then why do they have it in stores?
well this is just mo but I think it would take a lot of powder to kill a child and if it were that dangerous it wouldn't be allowed to be sold.

yeah I know....I sprinkle it on him and close his diaper, none of it gets in his face, when I sprinkle it I can't even smell it.
yeah, I don't think I know anyone who sprinkles it on their hand over or right near the baby, in the diaper is fine tho.

When aydan was a baby, I remember laying him down in the bathroom to dry him when he grabbed the talc powder out of his box and 'poofed' it all over his face! Shocked I quickly got it off and I rang .N.H.S direct to check that he would be alright. I was worried he might have swallowed some and didnt know if it was dangerous! She told me not to worry eating wasnt the problem it might be best to go to a&e just to check he hadnt inhaled any. When I got thier the doctor thought I was mad!! He said it is only in extreme cases that that can happen and you would literally have to stick it up his nose. Plus he said if this happened he would have a huge coughing and sneezing fit! I think some people make a bigger deal about these things than needs be. If powder was that dangerous huge baby companies wouldnt make it! In amelias case I would probably give it a miss though, with breathing problems you probably wouldnt want to risk it! Good luck with your appt. Smile

...And allie sudocrem didnt work for you??? That stuff is miracle cream!!

It is dangerous because some people are not very bright and squeeze the container until they have a big cloud of powder surrounding them, like in the movies. Instead of putting a little on your hand or on a cloth and wiping it on.

The ones with corn starch are great.

maybe you should wake up and quit being such a paranoid b*tch about who uses this and who uses that.

Oh my god, you got hair on your head, your kid is gonna choke on it.

I guess now I see why what typically wouldn't be a subject to cause an argument gets blocked.

thats nice.

If you call listening to your doctors advice and being well informed being paranoid, then I feel sorry for you.

You sure sound like a responsible parent, ya pothead.

Now, come back with something like "welll its better than doing meth"
because you always try to justify your drug addiction.
