Sorry I keep posting I just can't help myself! I'm on zoloft 275mg for anxiety and I was on zyprexa for bipolar disorder but ever since I told my psych I was trying to get preggy she's been slowly weaning me off of it because she said it hasn't been tested properly and the effects of it on an unborn child are unknown. I guess what i'm wondering is if anyone else if on medication and if so did it affect your ability to conceive and did it have any detrimental effects on your child? Thanks in advance.

Once again, ask a doc. We could all tell you something and then feel bad when something happens. Good luck!!

Thanks, I called my doctor and she told me that zoloft is a "safe" drug for pregnancy, therefor if I do get pregnant I can continue with my normal dosage throughout.

Alex,
hey hun! Long time no talk! Lol well to help answer your question, zoloft is a "safe" drug to use during pregnancy...I've been on 50mg for a while now for my anxiety and my dr said it's not a prob at all!
