Not a Happy Bunny :-(

I have been in agony for the past 5 weeks with *supposingly* carpal tunnel syndrome. My gp didnt have a brace to give me so she told me to rest it and go back and see her if the pain continued, and it did. So I went back she said she would write to the hospital physio dept to get me an appointment asap. Anyway the pain was so bad I ended up going to a+e 3 weeks ago and they told me to keep moving/using it. I was still in pain last week so I called my gp to see if she had sent the letter to the hospital, which she had, so I called the physio to see whats happening and she told me that there was a 3 month waiting list, I told her I was pregnant and she told me my gp had not explained that on the referral letter. Anyway to cut I long story short the physio saw me today (she was really nice) and told me that I have a broken bone in my wrist and not carpal tunnel syndrome. So now I am strapped up I have to be x-rayed next week and because I have been using my wrist I have torn a ligament aswell and I need an mri scan after baby is born and then I will need electric treatment what ever that is?

I am in agony Mad

Wow that sucks - sorry sweetie, at least the physio picked up the problem quickly.

Do you know how you broke it?

Didn't the doctor even do an exam? That sounds painful. I'm sorry you had to go through all that time in such agony.
