Bleeding After Removal of Tube, Due to Eptopic Pregnancy Posted: 11-21-06 18:50pm
I had gone to the hospital because I had
shooting pains, mostly thru my butt, and
the uterus area. I thought I was having
a miscarriage (had one 1.5 years earlier).
I had been bleeding for 2 weeks, with
what I thought was my period. But it
didn't stop, so I had it checked out.
That was 9 weeks ago, I had my right tube
removed due to it being severely damaged
through a eptopic pregnancy.
4 weeks later, I had a normal period.
Another 4 weeks, and my period started
again, everything seems normal. Except
it's been 12 days now, and i'm still
bleeding. Not lots, just enough to make
me aware and concerned. I am supposed to
go back to doctor for 8 week checkup, but
had my period at that time. So I haven't
gone yet. Now I am for sure scared
completely. I want to have another
child. Have a happy healthy wonderful 2
1/2 year old boy. Husband and I want to
have another, hopefully a girl. We were
not trying to get pregnant but had started
talking about it. But then all that
happened and that will post pone any
immediate plans to start trying in the
very near future. The new year was
looking good though. I don't know what
to think. Is it normal to be having
periods lasting more than 12 days?
Doctors were concerned last time that I
would become enamic. But I was not. I
have no signs, symptoms of being pregnant
still. Haven't had sex, so can't be
again.

Even if you had your period you should
have gone for your check up.
Book your check up asap and get them to
investigate the cause of bleeding.
It could be a number of things possibly a
hormone imbalance being the most likely.
