For the past 3 weeks, i've noticed a slight pain in my throat when I swallow. Yesterday, out of nowhere, I suddenly could barely swallow. It felt like there was a baseball in my throat, just to the left of my windpipe. It was very difficult to swallow for about 3 hours. Then it gradually went back to the way it has been for the past 3 weeks. I don't have any trouble breathing, just swallowing. I have just started taking lexapro for anxiety recently (about 3 weeks ago), but my doctor assures me there is no connection to the drug and symptoms.
