Sex... Posted: 11-24-06 17:45pm
Im on birthcontrol now, and my doc said my
stiches should take a couple weeks to
heal... So im woundering if sex wouldnt
be an ok thing until after my stiches or
if I get condoms for now if it would be
ok... I mean I had a 2nd degree rip and
im pretty scared its gonna hurt, but I
also wanna be close with shawn but its
kinda hard to get that close when im
scared, and hes scared of hurting me...

I have never been pregnant but from what I
have heard it would be best to wait untill
the stitches are removed and you are
completly healed which could take up to 6
weeks. If you have any major concerns
you should call your doc and ask him/her
when it will be ok.
If you want to saty close their are other
things you can do

I'd call your doctor &ask. You're
supposed to wait to get the ok from your
doc before you start having sex again. I
think most women get the ok about 4-6
weeks after giving birth.

I think if you're scared it's going to
hurt you're probably not ready yet.
Definitely wait until you really feel up
for it. It would suck to mess things up
down there, don't you think?
But when you do go for it, use lots of
lube and take it slow.

well, they'll just insert that and take it
out, they won't be thrusting and whatnot.
But also that's in 2 weeks, maybe by then
you'll be ready?

I wouldn't do it without my doctor's ok.
I'd call &make sure it's ok. But if
you feel like you're ready, then go ahead
&try. But like .Bridget said, use
lots &lots &lots of lube.

They will give you the okay on your 4-6
week check up if everything looks okay
when he gives you a pap smear.
I had sex about a week after I had the
okay, I got cut with brayden though and
didn't tear. Sex hurt a little bit at
first but it wasnt anything like omg
ouchhhh!!!

Isn't it funny how just a few weeks ago we
were begging for our babies to come out,
now we're all antsy to have sex again.
