High Blood Pressure During Exercise Posted: 11-24-06 22:27pm
My blood pressure rises significantly
during exercise. I have been running
for 20+ years now, and never knew of any
problems, by chance I have found that at
rest, my bp is normal to high normal -
120/80, but after running for short
distances, 3 miles, it rises to about
200+/150. I have run consistently 30
miles per week and have run 4 marathons.
I feel nothing different during my runs,
no shortness of breath, no dizziness,
nothing. I tested myself today after a
short 3 miler at a moderate pace - 27
minutes - and it was 195/150? Help?
