I Don't Want to Sound Ridiculous But...
Posted: 11-24-06 22:55pm

My last period started on 11/9 & ended on 11/14. My boyfriend & I had unprotected sex on 11/21 (he did cum in me).

I realize that there is a slim to none chance of me having any kind of pregnancy symptoms just yet. I mean, technically, even if an egg were to be fertilized, it would all be happening around now. So, really i'm not even "pregnant" yet.

My cause for concern is this... I have been having a pain in my stomach on the left side. It's not like an, "oh, my gosh, this hurts so bad" pain, it's more of just an annoyance than anything else. It seems to coincide w/my breathing. For the past 2 nights now I have been having this pain. I have never experienced this before. I read that there can be some pain when the sperm embeds into the wall of the uterus, but it's too early for that to be happening.

I would like to know what you think might be going on. I'm not worried, but I would like to know if maybe this could be a sign of something. I'm not fabricating or imagining this. I know my body, & this has never happened before.

From what I know about my body & what I have read about ovulation, I am ovulating, & this is my most fertile time. So, given that & the fact that he did very much cum inside of me... I am just curious about this pain. Today, I also have experinced some soreness in my breast (which are swollen). I also have a slight rise in my temp. It's too early though, right?!

What's going on?

After he came in me, he stayed in for a while just going slowly & then we stopped. And too, I have experienced some semen leaking out yesterday & earlier today (which I have read that that is normal).

I hate to be so graphic, but it's not realistic to spare details when so much is to be considered. So, I am trying & willing to give all information.

Thanks so much for any help!!! Wink

Then what is it? Now, I am worried. It looks just like semen. It happened once earlier I had this feeling like there was some kind of discharge leaking out. Sure enough my underwear were somewhat wet. I've never had a guy cum inside me before so, I am not exactly in the know. That does seem strange that semen would leak out still. I don't know what's going on. Sad

It's probably just discharge rather than semen.

Maybe you're just now ovulating, that could explain the feelings you're having and i'm guessing it's discharge, not semen.

Unless you want to be pregnant, use protection all the time.

Edit: i've never experienced this but I know a lot of people who are trying to conceive look for "egg white cervical mucus" as a sign of ovulation. I'm going to say you're ovulating.

she said .Y.E.S.T.E.R.D.A.Y - so that would mean .T.H.U.R.S.D.A.Y - & then earlier today (.F.R.I.D.A.Y)

so it's not that strange. I mean I sometimes had the "fluid" come out an hour after ttc-ing, or it would come out the next day - little by little.

So I don't think it's .T.H.A.T strange!

Well, maybe it is .D.I.S.C.H.A.R.G.E then - who knows?

She said they had sex on the 21st, that was tuesday. Her vagina is not a bottomless pit, semen would not stay in there for 3 days.

Well, thanks for the replies. I hit puberty when I was 9 years old. So, I have ovulated plenty of times before & never experienced this pain in my stomach. The temp change, yes... The swollen & tender breast, yes... But never the stomach pain.

I'm not freaking out, so hopefully, my posts don't sound hysterical. I am just slightly worried.

Maybe though, it is just me ovulating.

I think I should clear up that it was around 11:30 (when he came home from work) on tues night... So, really... It has been 2 whole days instead of 3. Still, though, maybe i'm wrong.

If you are pregnant and the pain in your side continues or gets worse then I would seek medical attention because it could be ectopic. Other symptoms include:

* abdominal or pelvic pain.

* a missed period.

* signs of early pregnancy.

* vaginal bleeding not caused by menstruation.

* dizziness or fainting.

* low blood pressure when bleeding is severe

* pain in the tip of one shoulder

when I was pregnant I had a suspected ectopic pregnancy and went to the hospital with lower abdominal cramps. I had an internal ultrasound and luckily, all was well.

I do realise it's a bit early for you but if the embryo is implanting in the wrong place then forewarned is forearmed.

Good luck!
