So as you guys know, .I started working again recently.
&.Christ, .I didn't realize it'd be so hard.
I don't even work long shifts! 6hrs at the absolute most!
But .I've been working for a week, now..
&.I'm getting really down because it hurts.
Like, my feet &my legs &my back. Even though
.I get breaks &they're really good at letting me take
it really easy. My feet cramp up &my legs get so sore.
It's really hard to walk &move around. I worked yesterday,
&they had to send me home early 'cause .I couldn't stand
up anymore! It's kind of embarassing!

Does anyone have any advice on anything .I can do
to help ease the pain? (not working isn't an option...
Unfortunately)..

Or did this happen to anyone else? Like, will .I eventually get used to working again &will the pain ease up a little bit? Or is it only going to get worse?

Are there any stretches or exercises .I can do before .I go to work, or even while .I'm at work?

*.Sigh* .I'm so mad it took me so long to find a job.
I mean, who starts work when they're 6 months pregnant!?
Lol, it's only until .January, though. I'm just seasonal.

Oh, &just to add, my bp is completely normal, &.I'm not swelling anywhere.

If you are up on your feet alot you probably will not be able to make it much longer, try to get you some very comfortable shoes with some very much needed support, possibly nursing shoes. If you feel that you are not going to be able to make it then please do not push yourself! You are starting at a very bad time of the year, when you do need to hustle, and .Gabe is #1 in your life and you do not need anything to jeopardize that. Are you able to do clerical work, even that can be hard on your back. I agree that it is difficult working while being pregnant but only you can decide what is right for you as soon you will not be able to tie your shoes.
I wish you luck in your decision and know that we are here for you and please do not look down on yourself because you could not do it, you gave it your best and that is all you could do.

Anyway, I worked retail up until 34 weeks when we moved. I wore those hideous crocs and they really did help. Just take it easy and take as many breaks as possible. Hang in there!

I don't think she's trying to start anything. She was just responding to your ridiculously ignorant comment.

Thanks guys:) .I don't feel like .I'm pushing myself, it does hurt my feet, but it's nowhere near unbearable. Tonight wasn't so bad, so .I think my body is starting to adjust! It's just that .I haven't worked in so long. They brought a stool up front &said when we're slow .I can just sit myself right on down &relax for a few minutes. So that's awesome.

I know .I'm pretty crazy for getting a job when .I'm 6 months pregnant, but .Gabe is my top priority &.I've gotta do what .I've gotta do to support my son! Wink

Yeah I think that your body will eventually get used to it. I know whenever I started working again my body was sore for the first little while too.

And now im working full -time again and it is a little rough sometimes like today was nasty I worked a 11 hour day with only one 15 minute break Rolling Eyes

that, my dear includes you.

She wasn't trying to start anything, just stating a simple fact, so as you so eloquently put it yourself "learn to read". Looks to me like you are the one trying to start stuff.

It's gets better for a little bit then it gets a little harder the further along you get. You're only going 'til january so it shouldn't be that bad. It's hard the whole time but it's really bad the last two months. I was going to suggest crocs (they really do help) looks like someone else is a croc fan as well. The stool is great, just make sure you do sit as often as you need to. Even 6 hours is going to wear you out so when you get home make sure you rest!!

she didn't say you can't she said you shouldn't.
It's her opinion and she's entitled to it.
Now, if you're quite finished...

&6 hours definitely wears me out! When .I get home .I usually take a warm bath or just get right into my jammies &put my feet up! Cool

Crocs are those rubber clogs that come in every color you can imagine.

I have always had very active jobs where I had to be on my feet. I have found the past couple of months my feet, legs and back kill me when i'm up and about for too long. It sucks, because I really don't enjoy being sitting.

I have found that support panty hose really do a good job of making me feel less sore and achy.

Good luck to you!

I saw your pics and you look really great. I loved the one with your boyfriend touching your belly, it was sweet!

Yeah, she pretty much described them to a "t". They're hideously ugly rubber clogs that come in a variety of eye watering colors (although I did find a pair in black) with large holes all over the shoe

Oooohhhhh crocs! Okay, .I know what those are. They're extremely hideous, but if they help .I just may have to get a pair. Granted .I can find them in black. We're only allowed to wear all black shoes at work.

&.Thank you!! He loves to touch my belly &talk to the baby. It's so cute. I love my two boys!
